Week in Action - January 15

Primary is Excited about Music.

We welcome Mr. Jonathan to Bruno

Ms. Andrea and Ms. Cristina's class took a closer look at Ireland and United Kingdom. They discussed the clothing, the flags and the languages of the region. Children also continued their study of reptiles. The teachers introduced dinosaurs into the study - the types of dinosaurs, when they lived and what they ate.

Ms. Sarita and Ms. Kathy's class explored different types of birds, characteristics of birds, parts of a bird and different kinds of bird eggs - they got an opportunity to compare a 'Chicken' egg to that of an 'Ostrich'. Students also took a journey to London with Katie and they will study more in the weeks to come. The stunning journey of Vincent Van Gogh at BJCC got some of their students excited about the "Starry Night" and they got hands-on.
Ms. Kim and Ms. Naomi added birds to their topic of study. They learned about the characteristics, types of birds and parts of the bird. Students will continue to learn more about birds throughout the month. The teachers also introduced animals and the tracks they make. On Wednesday the children explored the campus looking for tracks.
