Ms. Kim and Ms. Naomi's class started their study of the Great Barrier Reef. Over the next few weeks, the children will be researching interest fact and creating models to place in their 'Coral Reef'. The teachers have added some new items to their creative writing shelf. The comic book papers have been a big hit!!
Ms. Sarita and Ms. Kathy's class did a study on 'Apples' this week. They looked into the different kinds of apples, life cycle of an apple - parts of an apple - transforming apple to apple juice and tasting apple and apple juice. They also started their study on Australia and the Great Barrier Reef. In the coming weeks they will be exploring the ocean life.
Ms. Andrea and Ms. Cristina's class finished their study of South America by learning about the animals and layers of the Amazon Rainforest. They also took a closer look at the study of teeth and observed a tooth that had a cavity and a healthy tooth. They also started their study about fruits and vegetables.
